Whether you are fundraising solo, or with a squad, we know you’ve got what it takes to hit your fundraising goal — which is the ultimate way to help change warriors’ lives. The information below will quickly turn you into a fundraising pro and get you on the path to achieving the greatest impact for America’s wounded warriors.

As a way of saying thank you for helping put the Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) mission in motion, we’ll reward your fundraising efforts with exclusive 2020 WWP Carry Forward® 5K gear:




When you registered, a personal online fundraising page was created just for you! This is where friends and family can donate, join your squad, and read your personal message about why you’re fundraising to support wounded warriors. You can also see who has donated to your efforts, send a fundraising or thank-you email, and even post on social media.

Find your page here then select “Login” in the upper right-hand corner. (hint: your username is your email address)

Once logged in, complete these steps to set-up your page:

  1. Make the first donation - Your friends, colleagues, and family members will be inspired by YOUR commitment to helping injured veterans achieve their highest ambition.
  2. Add a photo - Friends want to know it’s you.
  3. Set a fundraising goal - This is key to keeping you focused and on track.
  4. Personalize your page message - Customize your personal fundraising page with your images, videos, links, and stories of why you support wounded warriors.



Did you know those who fundraise on Facebook raise an average of $150 more?

By using our custom Facebook tool, you can connect your WWP fundraising page directly to a Facebook Fundraiser. This allows you to easily collect donations on Facebook and have them automatically display on your WWP fundraising page — it’s pretty magical! (Note: you must activate your Facebook Fundraiser through your Dashboard for everything to work correctly.)

It takes 3 minutes or less to get set up. Here’s how:

Step 1: Log in to your fundraising dashboard and select “Create a Facebook Fundraiser."

Step 2: Log in to Facebook and allow access to your Carry Forward fundraising page.

Step 3: Head to Facebook to view your fundraiser and customize your fundraising message.

That’s it! Your Facebook Fundraiser is now connected. You can share your Facebook Fundraiser and ask your friends and family to give. 



  1. Send an email. Now that you have your “script” from the step above, send your first fundraising email to your family, friends, and colleagues. We have one in your Dashboard for you to easily customize and send.
  2. Post on social media. Post your personal fundraising page link on social media and share why you’re participating, your fundraising goal, and invite others to either give or join your squad. 
  3. Ask your company for a donation. Or, check to see if your company will match your donation here. When donations are doubled, so does the impact for wounded warriors!
