ABOUT YOUR OFFICIAL CARRY FORWARD SWAG KITS AND PACKET PICK-UP

Your official Carry Forward Jacksonville 5K swag kit complete with a drawstring bag, race bib, flag, and more, will be available at a packet pickup location the week of the event, or on-site at the registration tent the morning of the 5K.

Please bring your ID to pick up your packet. Squad leaders can pick up packets for their squad.

If you raised $100+ for your Carry Forward T-shirt or met the $175+ fundraising incentive levels listed here, you are eligible to:

  1. Pick-up your items at packet pickup (available at both pre-event and event day pick up).
  2. Have them shipped directly to you post-event.

 

MISSION MILERS

Introducing the Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) Carry Forward® 5K Mission Milers — the program for anyone who refuses to quit when it comes to honoring and empowering our nation’s heroes. As you participate in multiple years of the Carry Forward 5K, you’ll automatically earn swag and rewards to recognize your commitment to serving those who served us.

3-year participants earn: an official Carry Forward Running Belt

5-year participants earn: set of Carry Forward Pint Glasses

If you’ve qualified for the Mission Milers program, your reward item will be shipped directly to the address provided during registration after the event.

Schedule

  • On-site Registration and Packet Pickup Opens:  7:00 a.m.
  • Opening Ceremony:  8:00 a.m.
  • Race Start:  immediately following the Opening Ceremony!

On-site Registration and Donations

Registration is available on-site and we’re happy to have new participants! We also accept donations on-site. Payments can be made by card, check, and cash.

Health and Safety Precautions

In an effort to ensure the health and safety of our participants, the following safety precautions have been implemented at the Carry Forward 5K:

  • We ask that you practice social distancing and maintain a six-foot distance from other participants whenever possible.
  • If you are unable to socially distance, we recommend a mask be worn as a courtesy to all those attending. If you would like a mask and did not bring your own, you may pick one up at the Registration / Check-in Tent.
  • For your convenience, we have also provided hand sanitizing stations at various locations throughout the event venue.
  • Additionally, we will be staggering the start times of runners and walkers based on your 5K pace. To do so, we ask you to spread out along the road leading up to the Start Line Arch. Volunteers & signage will be there to assist you.
    • Runners, head toward the Start Line Arch and look for your pace location.
    • If you are walking, please wait back and allow runners to head out first.
    • If you have a stroller, we ask you to walk towards the back.

We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in making this a fun, safe, and enjoyable experience for all participants.
