You’ve got the backs of wounded warriors everywhere when you tackle Wounded Warrior Project’s new 5K walk/run – Carry Forward™. You’ll test your stamina and flex your fundraising strength to ensure that returning wounded veterans access the free, life-saving programs they need most.
1: Form your squad. We all know the importance of teamwork in our military, and Carry Forward is no exception! Form your squad to run or walk alongside you and our nation's brave wounded warriors. Be a leader. Recruit your friends, family, and colleagues to experience this exciting day together.
2: Choose your challenge.
FLAG. Carry a flag from start to finish at your own speed.
FITNESS. Carry weights from 1 - 100lbs from start to finish. Your squad will decide whether to carry weights individually or as a team.
FIERCE. Do the ultimate Carry Forward by committing to carry each other throughout the course.
No matter the challenge level you choose, your flag, weight, or squad member will never touch the ground, demonstrating your unconditional commitment to support veterans.
3: Fundraise for warriors and their families. Every day 44 new wounded warriors and their families sign up to receive access to free, life changing programs offered by WWP. Your support provides these services in mental health, career counseling, and long-term rehabilitative programs that change lives.
4: Carry Forward. Join your community on a beautiful 5K course at Titan Stadium in downtown Nashville. After your squad runs or walks, celebrate your accomplishments and the impact you’ve made at a festival.
