“I carry forward out of immense gratitude for those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country. It’s a privilege to put a weight on my body and do something hard to show my gratitude for those who are no longer able.”

Carry Forward 5K Participant

“I lost my son, Justin, in March of 2021. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was deployed to Bagram in 2011. I participate in Carry Forward every year to honor his memory and show my support of all the men and women who have sacrificed for our country.”
