The mission of Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) is to honor and empower wounded warriors. Now’s your chance to bring the WWP Carry Forward® 5K to your own community or neighborhood. Every step you take and dollar you raise will help wounded warriors as they take on their next mission.
You can walk, jog or run your 5K anywhere on any day. Amp it up by considering one of three special ways to show your support for our nation’s bravest:
Carry a flag to show
support and patriotism.
Carry a weight to represent
the responsibilities veterans bear
while serving our country.
Carry another person to symbolize
one warrior carrying another
in their time of need.
Did you know you can register with your pet for Carry Forward and get a bandana for your furry friend? Your steps and their paws help honor our nation's heroes!

“We wanted to do something meaningful, and since we are a military family, we decided to participate in Carry Forward 5K. My dad was a disabled veteran and we walked in his memory.”
“We came together with the goal of making a difference by increasing awareness of veterans’ mental health in our community and raising funds to support WWP in helping our bravest Americans through a variety of programs and services.”
